NGPS is a multimaterial fabrication technique based on the deposition of calcium based paste-like, material droplets into a water-algee solution. The chemical reaction between the two materials produces the solidification of the plaster-like building material that forms spheric nodes. The project is inspired by experiments of “molecular gastronomy” by Ferran Adrià, world-renowned chef of the restaurant El Bulli.
